Oh my gosh, where to begin. Friday was graduation day and it was so much fun. It is so hard to believe I have a first grader now. Looking back at the slide show Ms Hetzel made they have all grown so much. Thank you Ms Hetzel for all your hard work and for loving our kids. The party was such fun.
SO....then off to camping. The annual father's day trip with 4 other couples and kids for an all out adventure. This year proved to be just that. After back and forth phone calls accessing the situation in Baraboo we decided to go. The normally 2 hour trip took well over 4 with a trip on a ferry boat of all things!! They had 94 shut down due to massive flooding. I have seen these kinds of things on TV, but never up close. It is really something. Very sad. We heard of people driving 8-10 hours to get there because of all the traffic and detours. Once we actually got there it was ALL good. The campgroud was beautiful, alot of people cancelled so there were not many people there at all. We fished, frogged, swam, and the best thing of all bike riding. Simon's confidence on the 2 wheeler went up about 100 notches. We barely saw him. He met some new friends and they all rode and rode and explored all weekend. He is becoming so independent. I popped the airmattress, but other than that, no problems what so ever. On the way home today we stopped at Lake Delton for lunch and to see the drained lake. We actually walked on the bottom of the lake. It was so sad. Randy and I were there at a Bed and Breakfast about 6 years ago. Anyway, I have attaced alot of photos for you to enjoy.
